$250 for the whole season but $350 if you want the superfan package( I dont have it but it was free the first week) which is mainly two channels with up to eight games on the screen at one time(pretty cool for ff football players) and then replays of all the games without commercials and huddles during the week. Oh yea you also get the Redzone channels that automatically change from game to game when a team is in the Red Zone.

I've been wanting to get Direct TV for a while now and our local cable just sucks (love the HD and DVR though). With Direct TV, do you get the DVR/HD option as well and how much is it for installation, etc. (I've looked on the website, but I figured I'd ask the pros who actually have it)? I guess what I'm asking is what do you guys pay/month for HD/DVR/NFL Package?

$42 a month for total choice package and local channels
$55 a month for 4 months for NFL package
$50 a month for 2 months for NCAA football package.
I dont have the dvr but I think it is like 5 bucks a month.
You can get hd but I dont have it so I cant tell you what it costs.

I want to say the HD is 250 bucks + 13 a month. I have the ticket. Got it for 200 bucks (since I had it last year). Its great with FF. I watch the games that my players are on by using the "back" button on my remote. The nice thing is you can get Sunday Ticket paid off in payments of 50 buks a month, plus your regular bill. Dont get many Bronco games in southern Indiana!

Yeah but DirectTv is like a cellphone company you have to get divorced to leave them.
Me: I am going on vacation and won't be home for two months can I suspend my service?
