Like the original poster said, you shouldn't be thanking indy's D for that, instead, thank the schedule maker and whoever was responsible for drafting David Carr.
Do you people even watch the game. The Rams were up by 17, Steven Jackson ran for 6 on a first down near mid field. A pass play was called to Holt who was bracketed by two defender's 25 yds on a slant. This was a play call even Mike Marx would not have called. An interception turned the tide of the game. Jackson was running over people at this time, and they call a pass play. It cost them the game.

Take it away? What was there a hold on the play? Nope dont think so. How can you just erase the play? If you erase all those TD's the Colts scored the Rams would have won. Amazing!
IND defense is not the best defense in the league. It also is not a fraud regardless of the weak opposition. It is a top 5 defense thusfar this year and it will remain so, period. Tennesse and Jacksonville both have decent offenses and the IND D killed both of them. Why does everyone always have to go to extremes?
And STL was going to lose this game no matter what happened, they are worse than IND on both sides of theball and are horrible on the road and have no mental toughness and horrible play calling.
We'll hear this being a "bump in the road" next week when they dismantle Houston.
They can kill the regular season, but when they get to the playoffs when there are teams with good enough offenses AND defenses, I think they'll have some trouble. I think they better start praying now for home field throughout the playoffs.

It wasn't a cheap shot, but it was a dumb move by Bulger. Don't give the guy your throwing shoulder. In fact, don't give the guy anything....just run away.

I didn't say take away ALL THE PLAYS that were good. I said 1 play. When you go by stats 1 play can skew them quite a bit.
A Backup RB could catch a screen pass and run 90 yrds for a TD then catch 10 more for 1 yrd. 100 yrds and a td looks good, but nobody would consider him unstoppable. Amazing!
