My stab at predicting scores - Week 7

All home teams score 20 points in week 7 and all away teams score 17 points.

That's what my formula is spitting out, let's see which one ends up closer on average next week.

I picked Cheifs to win 34-24, they won 30-20.

First off, the way I'm doing this is TOP SECRET until after the week 7 games. I'll tell you then how I did these. By the way, this is sorta just for fun so don't think I'm some false prophet or anything like that.

Clearly a few games I did pretty bad in, and a few I did reasonably well in. Keep in mind these are scores from a hat.

The Miami-KC game was pretty good for me, I said 34-24 and it was 30-20 - the right point difference but shifted 4 points up. I got the colts and chargers scores correct and correctly chose the winner in each game. Unfortunately ATM I'm only 5-3 straight up, and my numbers for the WAS-SF and GB-MIN games were quite off. So yeah, 2 team scores correct ain't bad for picking from a hat.[/b]

i didnt read the 3 pages....sometimes sarcasm is hard to read through a computer screen.....my fault

No, I did pull from a hat, but the thread is a joke. It's because of the other guy who had a mathematical formula to predict scores, so i decided to try and do it the most random way possible and act like I had a formula or something.

Funny thing is, I think I'm doing well in the Pick 3 with these scores, the steelers/bengals game and especially the eagles/chargers game - got one of the scores right.

So after the late games I'm 8-5 straight up. I got a third correct score (Cardinals at 20 pts).

for the record I read somewhere that USA today hasn't predicted the correct score in an NFL game since 1997
