First Round Pick and Winning Percentage Wk. 6

Postby moonhead » Tue Oct 18, 2005 3:51 pm

Ok, I'm bored at work....so I took down the record of all my teams (mock drafts and money leagues) noted the first pick and calculated their winning percentages. I just thought this was kind of interesting.

Julius Jones 1 league record 5-1 .833 percentage
Shaun Alexander 2 leagues. record 9-3 .750 percentage
LT 5 leagues. record 21-7-2 .700 percentage
Edgerring James 1 league. record 4-2 .666 percentage
Priest 4 leagues. record 14-10 .583 percentage
Randy Moss 1 league. record 3-3 .500 percentage
Culpepper 1 league. record 3-3 .500 percentage
Manning 2 leagues. record 5-6-1 .416 percentage
Mcgahee 1 league. record 2-4 .333 percentage

the mcgahee and julius leagues i was the turn around pick 10th and 11th pick on a 10 man league. One time I took kevin jones with the second pick, and TO with the other...see if you can figure out which team has TO out of those two. :-P

There is nothing enlightening or anything important with this, I just got bored and started looking at records. Thought some of you might enjoy this.

I'm 4-2 as well in a 12-team league and I took Edge at 1.9!

I took Priest at like 1.4 or 1.3, ahead of Shaun Alexander. :~( :~( :~(

I'm only playing four this year because I've been pretty busy:
McGahee 3 leagues 5-1 average record .833%
S. Alexander 1 league 5-1 record .833%
(I'm 5-1 in all four of them)

Small sample size, but as you can see, I really liked McG coming into the year. Had him as my #4 player overall. Took him at 5 (keeper), 6, and 10 overall.

And upon further review, just as sappy, too."

Jamal Lewis- 10th overall pick.... 3-3 .500 record

I'd like to see some other results with ppl who took Jlew with their 1st pick... he's really let me down this year so far.
