Great W on the road for the Lions. The offense was down to their #4 WR (BMW), but soon enough, guys like Roy and CRog will return and that could really provide a nice spark. There were a few long passes thrown to guys like Scotty Vines on sunday that ended up incomplete - these were passes that seemed tailor made for guys like Roy and CRog who can go and get them or run just that much faster so that those incompletes turn into big plays. Garcia played well, he made some things happen, and as the WRs return, it will open up the running game as well. Defensively, the Lions lost Bly and Shaun Rogers on Sunday - two massive losses, but they are still playing as if they are a top 10 D. If the offense picks up steam as the WRs return, this team could be a playoff threat.
Fortunately for the Lions the winner of their division will probably be 8-8, at best.... So, I think they have a VERY good shot at the playoffs....
