Deshaun Foster--Grab While the Grabbing's Good

Postby benjapage » Thu Oct 20, 2005 10:55 am

is he still the future? is stephen davis really holding up?

davis' performance on the field (not fantasy) has actually been in decline, looking less than explosive through the line. could this mean more time (fantasy value) for foster? he is the future of the franchise, is he not?

seems like a decent buy-low prop.

This is also a good week to grab him since he is on bye and coming off an injury. Should be able to get buy him low right now.

Whats his injury status at this point?
What exactly is wrong with his knee?
When did he have surgery?
What other RBs had a similar injury and how long did it take them to return?

I think he will get more carries as the year goes on. Funny thing is he was just dropped in my league and I grabbed him this morning.

I think it would be a great idea to get Foster you can get another TE if needed but Foster could be moving into the starter role soon.

on the flip-side, here's a note of caution: even as foster might take over the role, consider his schedule.

Sunday, October 30 Minnesota 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 6 @ Tampa Bay 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 13 New York Jets 4:05 p.m.
Sunday, November 20 @ Chicago 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 27 @ Buffalo 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 4 Atlanta 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 11 Tampa Bay 1:00 p.m. (FANTASY PLAYOFFS)
Sunday, December 18 @ New Orleans 1:00 p.m. (FP)
Saturday, December 24 Dallas 1:00 p.m. (FP)

minny and new orleans are the only cream-puffs. everyone else presents a considerable challenge. just a caveat emptor.
