I'm going to go against the grain and say they will start to pick it up next week. Unfortunately they have to go against the Colts this week, but their quick passing scheme seemed to work against Seattle last week. They were moving the ball pretty well during some drives. Now, there were costly penalties and mistakes that you can't do, but otherwise they looked pretty good (despite the fact that they lost).

This new system does exactly what they need to do--not rely on the O-line. Put the defense back on their heels a little bit hoping they don't get burned by a quick slant route for big yardage. That in turn will allow more running room for DD and even a couple of passes into the flat where he can really do some damage.

These guys aren't going to be zeroed out for the year. Besides, has any team ever lost *every* game?

I think the Bucs were the last to have that dubious honor, but that was back in the 14-game regular season.

I think we need to make a run for the number one draft pick and go after another guy like Babin......that was a bust. I have no idea why they would draft Morency out of OSU when they already had an OK back in Wells. Oh yeah go ahaed and sign Phillip he is a great corner....pffft .....freaking bone head moves. Casserly should be fired as well as the rest of the coaching staff. I also think another season of Carr laying on his back may ruin the kid as well.....Its great being the laughing stock of the NFL...but at least we have the Stros.

if im HOU, and i get the number 1 pick i take matt leinart, OR, i trade for 2 first round picks, take an offensive lineman as my first first round pick, a Defensive lineman as my second first round pick, and prolly another O lineman as my 2nd rounder, or possibly a LB, but more than likely a OL.

he is serviceable. he's not montana, but he is not the problem with that offense.

If the Texans don't use every draft pick on an offensive lineman, then the GM needs to be fired.
