Wide Reciever Hard Luck.

Postby KEVVEGAS » Thu Oct 03, 2002 12:45 pm

Until last week, I didn't think I needed to trade for a wide receiver, However in fantasy football, hard luck sometimes occurs. My reciever unit is Randy waiting for the shoe to drop Moss, Terry Glenn, Derrick Mason, Joey Galloway. and David Terrel. I have been offered Marvin Harrison, and Clinton Portis for Ladanian Thomlinson. One part of me would hate to give up a great back like Thomlinson, but I can see the potential of winning my matchups with Harrison, and Moss, if Moss gets his act together.( A Gamble!) Any advice would be sincerely appreciated. My Rb's,(our league starts two) would be Travis Henry, Clinton Portis, and Terry Allen :~( :~( :~(

You NEED to keep LT with those RB's... good RB's will score more points for you... No way would I consider that.

Steve Smith, Jerome Pathon (until Stallworth comes back)

i agree with vikings, dont do this trade. it is much easier to find wr's than it is to find running backs. try and trade moss for another reciever.

Not alot of decent receivers left in a twelve team league, I did just pick up Eddie Kennison, and am considering Drew Bennet. I appreciate your advice, and believe I will just weather the storm. ;-D
