Our league has 13 teams, how many teams should we have in the playoffs?

We don't know what to decide, please give me some input.

Four makes the most senses to me. You need two weeks of games to get a champion. Week 1 of playoffs #1 plays #4 and #2 plays #3. Week two of playoffs is the championship.

If your team is currently doing well, make it 4 teams.

If your team is currently doing bad, make it 6-8 teams. It gives you a better chance to sneak into the playoffs.

I don't really wanna do that, I'd rather make it fair, what's a good number? 4? 6? 8?

I am a big fan of 6 teams. The 2 division winners get a bye. Then 3 plays 6 and 4 plays 5. The winners advance to play 1/2 then the winners play in the championship. Weeks 14, 15 and 16 are used.

We have 12 teams and the top six make the playoffs. It's a lot, but we figure it keeps everyone interested longer.

The three division winners get in, plus the top three left over.

Top two teams get a bye.

3-3 dead smack in the middle in 7th place out of 13. There are three 4-2 teams ahead of me, and three 3-2 teams ahead of me. I'm ahead of the other 3-3 team because I've scored the most points.

I'd go with 8... I like a lot of playoff competition, makes for a more fun league... and I hate to see teams totally out of it at the end... missing three great weeks of FF with a bye week.

Involve as many as you can.... 8.

We have 16 teams/4 divisions. We play head to head.

The division winners plus the top 4 points scorers go to the playoffs.

I like it, it avoids a little of the sting if you have a good team but the #1 team in the league is in your division.
