Who is LTs backup: Michael Turner or Darren Sproles?

Postby biju » Fri Oct 21, 2005 11:00 am

I'm just wondering because I really haven't seen or heard much of Michael Turner but I've heard a ton about Darren Sproles. I'm about to lock up a playoff spot this weekend and instead of keeping "hopefuls" on my roster like Lee Suggs and Michael Bennett I'd prefer to pick up my stud's backups (one of the two named, Dominic Rhodes and Ladell Betts).

thanks!

I think Turner is LT2's immediate back up.
"Sometime during the Pats game last week, I decided that Tomlinson was the best overall running back of my lifetime. There's nothing he can't do: deadly receiver, tough inside runner, explosive to the outside, you name it." - ESPN's Bill Simmons

it's turner. He even scored a TD a week or 2 ago in some garbage time stats.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks!

Definitely Turner. Sproles is used on returns and may get a few carries here and there.
Doesn't it suck to get beat at Fantasy Football...by a girl?

I think Sproles is hurt now too....

Michael "the burner" Turner was a STUD at Nothern Illinois.

He's probably thinking of the backup as a handcuff.

It's Turner...even if they choose to unleash Sproles more as the season progresses during games, there's no way he'd get a fulltime load in any game.
"The son of Bobby Bowden once again proved he's as predictable as a Julia Roberts' movie.

And upon further review, just as sappy, too."
