You are a pro Tommy don't blame the wind, boos come when you don't perform to the standard it takes to win in that city!

i totally agree with that. a qb who blames the wind is a guy who knows he sucks but wont admit it.

i do not believe he deserves the abuse he and his kids took.

As a Steelers fan, the whole Maddox's kids being harassed at school is terrible. But it all comes from the Parents bitchin about Maddox and then the kids take that and go to school with the mind frame that it may be fun to harass his kids. As for the trash thrown on his lawn...that's just one dumb fan who has too much time. The boos are expected no matter who you are...let's not forget this is sports. Fans pay a lot of money to express emotions and if they feel like booing Maddox's horrible performance of 3 INT's and a fumble is fine with me. What bothers me about this is that Maddox is a really great guy who contributes much to different charities and things in the community. I'll admit i was upset with Maddox on sunday but i still want him here in Pittsburgh as our backup because 1 game doesn't make you or break you in this league. He's done great in the past especially the season which almost ended his career and came back to help the Steelers to the playoffs.
