Any one thinking about starting Jamie Martin?

Postby thechill » Thu Oct 03, 2002 2:59 pm

I picked him up off the waivers the other day. My other option is Steve McNair. Am I crazy for starting him? Maybe this is what the Rams needed to get jump started. Am I alone on this?

I picked up Jamie Martin to fill in for a bye. I expect him to do well considering the offensive talent on the Rams. I'm also thinking it could be what the Ram's need right now. Warner is great, but he was looking like crap. I'd play him this week over McNair. The only concern I have is the Ram's O-line seems to be weak.

I picked up Jamie Martin to cover for Culpepper's BYE. I think he will have a strong game. He is bound to play better than Warner has been. Plus, being able to throw 5 yard passes to Faulk and letting him run wild sounds like a pretty easy thing to do well.

I would play him. I picked him up also, but will not play him, since I have Brooks...although I'd be lying if I told you I didn't think about it.
