Derick Mason for DeShaun Foster?

I'm looking to add depth to my running squad so I'm thinking about dropping Derick Mason for DeShaun Foster. I already have Toomer, Owens, Pathon, and Thrash in my receiving squad.

Other players I can afford to give are:
Jonathan Wells
Chad Morton (after this week)

I think it is always fun and keep a mid-late season rookie bloomer on your bench. Mason is out for a while anyhow.

Lamar Smith's ypc is a lowly 3.4/3.5 or sumthing.

no dont do this trade. for one you will be burned badly if when deshaun comes back and doesnt even start. mason will and always be the #1 reciever for tennessee. mason will be back in 4 weeks, so its not like he is out for the season.foster will have to fight for his playing time with lamar smith, and the way that he is playing right now, it doesnt look good for foster.

thats a bad trade trade foster might be on the bench all season and mason is out for 3 to 4 weeks but he will back and he's tenneese number 1 reciever!

I recently dropped Foster for the Colts Defense. I think that should tell you something.

In other words, don't do the trade.

Lamar Smith will be the starting Rb for the rest of the year barring injury. Foster won't even sniff any serious playing time. Once Mason comes back, he'll be money in the bank again. To me, Foster has no value at all. They'll cautiously work him in so he doesn't reinjure himself. Is that worth dropping a guy like Mason, who prior to his injury, was one of the best receivers week in and out?
