1st and goal from the 4
3 chances for Jones to punch it in......denied

They had to let the big tough Jeff Garthia punch it in....how sad.

It's official, Kevin Jones is a goal line wuss. Not a good thing for Fantasy Football......Damn!!

Oh, just for full disclosure, I do own the wuss (KJones) and luckily didn't start him this week. I wasted an early pick on him and he's been a big disappointment!! Luckily I have Priest and DDavis to carry me this week.

12 Team League (Performance and TD)

QB (1) Tom Brady, Carson Palmer
RB (2) Priest Holmes, Dom Davis, Kevin Jones, Marcell Shipp, Mewelde Moore
WR (2) Darrel Jackson, Lavern Coles, Jimmy Smith, Plaxico Burress
TE (1) Jermaine Wiggins Ben Troupe
K(1) Lawrence Tynes
Def. (1) Detroit D, Miami D

I dont see how he is a wuss. He is playing with a harness on his shoulder, just unlucky that he cant really bust through the middle. He's not really a power back more of a speed back, but i still would have given it to him at 4-1. Garcia is there now so expect k jones' numbers to go up.

i own Kevin Jones too and he was QUESTIONABLE at game time in a shoulder harness having not practiced all week and took ZERO hits. he has been fragile all year when healthy! and today they were starting Garcia who i gifured was just as likely to rin the ball in which he did. i thought starting KJ was lunacy so i benched him even when he was declared a starter and inserted Willie Parker my only other option. plus i figured with Cincy's run defense ranked 21st a good week for Willie to bust out of his funk. boy am i glad i did. don't plan to do this forever but i needed this today with Bulger hurt too.

Its the Oline dude - not KJ. The Oline hasent been able to block in short yardage situations all yr regardless of the RB.

Out of curiousity, is Sledge back?

That's what I'm looking for.. I know Detroit's O-Line is pretty sad, but I think if the Sledge was back, KJ would have a better shot at getting in.

Detroit's offensive ineffectiveness has been disappointing to say the least.

Thank god I didn't buy in too much this year. KJ in one league and Roy Williams in another.

Jones has been riding pine on my team since week 2. What a wasted pick...thankfully I picked up Parker and traded for Westbrook, so Jones isn't needed. It would be really nice to count on 10-12 points a week from him though.

Yes but his work was limited (at best) last week. Paul Smith still got a majority of snaps at fullback. I'm guessing Corey's workload will go up by each game.
The facts have no meaning.
