how wilma and yahoo screwed me

Postby vuch » Sun Oct 23, 2005 8:50 pm

on wednesday i had a trade go through taht was me trading k curtis/ronnie brown for clinton portis...but since ronnie brown played on friday night, i didnt have time to bench him so he started for me that week and the trade all of a sudden disappeared. So my trade that was completely 100% beneficial to my team was jsut taken away from some stupid programming and a dumb hurricane

In one of my leagues on yahoo, I was looking at the starting rosters of all the teams AFTER the Miami vs KC game. One team had Ricky Williams and Kevin Jones starting. This morning I looked and they were able to change and put Ronnie Brown and Larry Johnson in. After they saw there production. All Yahoo said was that they have had several complaints about this happening, but since it is a private league I have to tell the commissioner. The guy who did it IS the Commissioner!!! What kind of crap is that

So, what you are really saying it's your own fault that the trade didn't go through.

You had time to make a trade on Wednesday but no time to bench the player you were trading between Wednesday and Friday night?

Edit: The date change announcement was not made until Thursday morning, so you couldn't have known Wednesday. Still plenty of time, though.

Seems like you should have paid more attention to your roster/trade.

Second, you should talk to your commissioner and tell him it's not OK for him to change his lineup. If he doesn't change it back then take it to the rest of the league. If you let it go you're screwing yourself and the league.
