Darrius Thompson (WR)?

Just read some news that the Titans are looking at Darrius Thompson to help with their depleted WR core. Would he be worth picking up if he gets signed? His avg is pretty impressive!

Thinning at wide receiver with injuries to Drew Bennett and Brandon Jones, the Titans are bringing in former Dolphin Derrius Thompson for a workout. Thompson was en route to Green Bay for a workout when the Titans called, and he could sign with the team as early as today.

Our View
Thompson is a six-year NFL veteran who would provide experience and depth to a Titans receiving corps that has just three healthy members at present: third-year man Tyrone Calico and rookies Roydell Williams and Courtney Roby.

Thompson is a legit redzone threat . . uh no wait that's mccants, no wait that's rod gardner . . . ehh either most redskin's WR's that are cut loose are cut for a reason and usually not salary cap related. Is he still with the Dolphins?

Last time I saw him on the field for the Phins, he was not very good, I can't imagine this guy having any value at all
