In terms of yards allowed per game, they are 18th in the NFL.
In terms of TDs allowed, they are T20th in the NFL.
theyre a quick undersized D....they dont give up big chunks...but you can pound on them...
Weeks-RB-Att-Yds-TDs
1 westbrook 12-47-0....philly doesnt run, and westy's not a bruiser
2 alexander 28-144-1....that could be expected from shaun
3 mcgahee 27-140-1....big game for willis
4 m moore 14-57...again like westy, not a big bruiser
5 dillon 23-106...patrick pass stole a gimme td from corey
6 a smith/a stecker 28-194-2...backs split carries for huge day
7 c martin 14-28-1....its the jets...put 8 or 9 in the box when vinny's the qb
9 r brown/r williams 22-129-1....backs split carries for a respectable day....
so in short, if you run at least 20 times, and have a good physical running back, then you can exploit the quick, undersized atlanta run defense....
