Postby danleroi22 » Wed Oct 26, 2005 9:03 am

For this week's foucs article I want to give the cafe members their say...

so who's performance in week 7 was most notable? Which player is usually availible in most leagues or should be evaluated? Who should find the focus spotlight this game?

It's up to you!!! Please vote!!!

If you said "other" please tell me who and why.

Also, please reply to this post with the reason you think the player you voted for should be picked.

And also please ask a question on this board... or PM a question to me and I might use it in my article!

Thanks,
Dan

I went with Mike Williams because it appears that Garcia is looking his way most of the time. He's a huge target and could be a red-zone gem.
Question: Are you aware of any off the field problems Williams has had in the past?
Thanks for the articles, Dan.

Same. I drafted this guy in the last round, but had to drop him before last week's game because of all my injured WRs.

No one has picked him up...but he's intriguing.

Same boat here - had him but cut him due to injuries in other areas, but I'm really interested in him. I'd like to know more about Gore.

As a Lions fan who expects Roy and CRog backvery soon - I seriously doubt BMW will come close to repeating his week 7 numbers for the rest of the yr (barring more injuries of course).

Also - what off the field problems are you talking about?

BTW - I went with Gore because of his situation in SF. He could be the primary back sooner rather than later.

I don't know of any problems he's had, Cornbread. I was wondering if he'd had any. I'm usually concerned about any failed drug tests a player may have had which could affect his FF value unexpectdly in the middle of a season. These aren't always made public, at least as far as I know.

Another vote for Gore... I think he has the most potential, and is probably under the radar and available in many casual leagues - since the target audience of the main page articles has to be the cafe irregulars, I think an article about Gore would be the first many casual cafe go'ers had ever heard about him.

Az Hakim could really light it up if he was given the #2 WR spot and maintains his KR status...

He's been killing it in Horn's absence..
