I'm gonna step out and defend the guy.

For one I have always respected the man, he didn't try to be flashy out on the field. He did his job and was a true team player, and leader. Definately the heart and soul of his team. If he has been cleared by numerous doctors (we're talking double didgets, man) he can go. It seems evident to me he is a family man, from my observations in Super Bowl appearances and various games. I strongly doubt he would do anything he feels hurts them or worries them.

Maddog is right. None of us have any reason to bash him.

It makes me sick to see these posts about him being greedy. He is coming back for the love of the game. period. He is not coming back for money or the spotlight. He wants to help his team win by doing what he loves, playing football.

I give props to Teddy for being so coragous.
