Oct 25 Starter Mike Anderson and backup Tatum Bell are vying to become the fourth running back tandem in NFL history to each gain 1,000 rushing yards, according to the Denver Post. As it stands, Anderson is on pace for 1,093 yards and Bell for 1,040.
Just wondering if anyone knows who the hell else has done this,
being a raider fan I immediately thaught of Marcus Allen and Bo, but that doesn't seem realistic, anybody know?
Rocky and Franco did it for the Steelers in '76. Byner and Mack for the Ravens (or The Old Browns, if you prefer) in '85. The difference was that Byner and Mack did it for a .500 team, and the guy with the 3rd most rushing yards on the team had 9 yards all season.
