Here is the dilly O. We had two guys who made a trade last week and want to trade the same guys BACK to each other. The commish is raging over this. Says its not fair of fun. Im on the fence. So instead of blocking the trade the commish is leaving up to the league for a vote. Any thoughts? thanks

If they both want to trade the players back, then why should the commish care?

If the trade was made just to help with bye weeks, then you shouldnt let it go through as bye weeks are part of ff. But hte trade was made for another reason you have no reason to veto

The chance of BOTH of them wanting to undo the trade after one week is slim to none. They probably had an arrangement ahead of time which should make the trade back vetoable.

Good posts. These guys claim they didnt think it was a big deal. I trust both of them on this. I kinda dont mind because to me it costs to trade and thats a chance you take but I could be wrong..

If team A needs a RB for week 8 and team B needs a WR for week 8 why cant they trade each other?

why? because if you do it with the understanding that you'll trade back the next week, then you're operating two teams as one large roster. which, even under the standards of the collusion-crazies here, is cheating.

imagine if the eagles lent mcnabb to buffalo on the philly bye week and then got the services of one of the top buf defensive backs on the bills' bye week.

hmm... ?

Sounds a little shady to me. Like the other poster said, what are the chances both owners all of a sudden want to undo the trade.
