Good posts. These guys claim they didnt think it was a big deal. I trust both of them on this. I kinda dont mind because to me it costs to trade and thats a chance you take but I could be wrong..

If team A needs a RB for week 8 and team B needs a WR for week 8 why cant they trade each other?

why? because if you do it with the understanding that you'll trade back the next week, then you're operating two teams as one large roster. which, even under the standards of the collusion-crazies here, is cheating.

we actually have the same situation going on in our league at the moment.

Chris Baker was traded for steve McNair a couple weeks ago, now the team who traded away McNair needs a bye week filler for McNabb and the trade is redone.

Commish isnt happy about this one either.

Bye weeks subs are part of FF and you cant lend players to 1 team in exchange for a different bye week guy later on... its just not on.

I say you cant even let this sort of thing slide once. because teams prolly only need to get one major bye week fill a year its not fair to all the players who scour the WW and drop valuable players for bye week losers.

Baker and McNair...yeah thats fine. What if its TO and CJ because of your bye weeks. I think the quality of the player plays a part here as well. If I lost to a team that was "lent" a player and it was primarily that players fault I would be livid.

That doesn't sound like cheating to you?

It is an unfair advantage over all the other managers that have to play a subpar bye week fill in or have to scour the waiver wire. It effectively voids the notion of competition. Bye weeks are as much a part of FF as injuries, promotions, demotions, etc.

If 2 managers are conspiring to trade their players back and forth then you have 2 teams with double the rosters as every other team in the league. Does that sound like it is fair?

There should be scruples in FF too!

This why we have Dollar amounts for trades $10 bucks a pop. if they want to try this BS it will cost them $20 apiece!
