I was going to give some love to Porter until I just saw the highlights on Primetime.

Pac Man Jones is a true punk. No effort at all on both of those TD's.

Maybe we can revive this thread a few weeks from now and see who comes out on top.

I still think Gabriel will end up with better stats than Porter.

well i think the problem is:

Healthy Moss = no gabriel.

Gabriel may have done well today if he got as much time as porter (i'm assuming he didn't without actually checking).

yes, typical..... I just traded away Jerry Porter basically right before this week...hey jerry, could've used those 2 touchdowns these past 7 games..... ahh, ok well the deal wasn't too bad- I got Tony G straight up for porter.

It seems to me that Porter (despite always complaining about it) reallly doesn't deserve the look as a #1 WR. Whenever he plays in that role, he gets shut down and looks invisible. The answer to this will most likely depend on Moss's health- if Moss stays healthy, Porter has the opportunity to be a great fantasy WR and Gabriel will slip back into oblivion. If Moss is out and it's Porter and Gabriel on the field, expect Gabriel to outperform Porter.

Seems to me Porter is just at that level to be better than #2 CBs and worse than #1s...
