Pro players actually get a contract to play in a brand of shoes, even the guys that just play special teams might get like 5 grand + swag to wear Nike shoes for the entire season. I don't think they mind.

Oh, I have no problem with that... if Nike wants to pay a guy 5 grand + free shoes to wear em, fine by me. I'm more amused/irked/disgusted by the fact that the NFL has a deal with two specific companies to only let their players wear those shoes.... that's kinda dumb.

For once I agree with BH, but that doesn't keep me from being disgusted...
