Waking up with a stiffie

I'd get it checked out due to severity. I wake up with aches here or there, but that's usually either workout related or a minor ache due to sleeping in a bad position. It usually goes away that day...and it certainly isn't severe enough to inhibit my ability to do anything.

And upon further review, just as sappy, too."

Oddly enough I awoken to a stiffie the other day. It probably happens a couple times a year, and for me seem to come without reason. Must just be sleeping on it wrong.
IcyHot does work well for it. If you don't like the smell and want immediate relief you can ice it for 15 minutes then put a heating pad on it for 15.
Keep alternating this treatment until your pain is reduced. This usually works for me, though I always tell the gf that generous amounts of alcohol are needed as it is a muscle tension issue.

I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

I wake up with a stiffie a few times a week. I just say "Grandma, grandma, grandma..." under my breath and it goes away in about 15 seconds. ;-)
