As in hit you mean standing in his way and getting run over...right? ;-)

Never played football with them, but I've played basketball and baseball with a lot of former Gator football players, many of whom are now in the NFL.

I doubt many NFL players play fantasy football. It scews their view of the game too much. They'd be focusing on it too much rather than their team, where it matters.

And in answer to your question, no I have not.

I went to highschool in New Mexico. My best friend played against Brian Urlacher when he played for Lovington High School. Man, that dude was tough.

I used to work for a sports radio station here in Denver. Every week I got to go to Dove Valley for media day and interview the Broncos players. That was pretty cool.

I was actually talking about this earlier this week with some friends. I played in high school against Lamont Jordan. It was actually just a preseason game. He went to Suitland high in MD. It just happened my junior year our new coach was his old coach and he managed to schedule a preseason warmup between the two teams.

Needless to say Jordan was the most amazing player I have ever played against. He was bigger than most of the lineman, and faster than everyone on the field. He ran me over a few times, and even when I managed to bring him down once it was only because I was able to trip him up.

Sadly until this year, I never really knew how good he was. Playing against him and seeing his ability and then knowing he was a backup in the NFL made me understand just how special these guys are. Now that Jordan is starting, I have an even better idea.
