Mike Shanahan SUCKS...

Postby dirty » Sun Oct 30, 2005 9:19 pm

...so does the Eagles defense. I was up by 4 points, before Bell rushed fur the last second touchdown. OUCH! I guess Shanahan wanted to put an exclamation mark on his victory. Whatever happened to sportsmanship and taking the knee in the final seconds of the game?

Now I have to rely on Jeff Reed to give me 6 points on monday night. I might as well kiss the week's victory goodbye!

Yeah, it is a total loser move by Shanahan. The same thing happened last week (I think) in the Oakland game when they let Crockett run in a meaningless TD while Buffalo's defense sunk into more negative territory.

Unfortunately, I guess he's thinking about possible tiebreakers and the whole "just stop us from scoring" thing. Personally, I don't see why you put your players at risk (which is part of the reason you kneel at the end of the game along with not showing up your competition). Portis got lost for the year when he tried to pound in a TD in OT two years ago, but he just doesn't seem to get it. :-B

I have both Anderson and Bell. Both have been putting up regular solid #s, against very good defenses. They are the new Bo Jackson & Marcus Allen. I started Ronnie Brown over both of them, and either one of them would have been a much better play for me this week.

T. Bell when I have him in my lineup: 60 yds and 0 TD's...when I don't have him in....yeah....this is going to be maddening for the rest of the season...oh well, it's always good to have depth!
