That's because he's probably still too hurt to play a full game. That's why Pass was still starting. Belichick most likely figured he could do 15-20 plays, but when Pass got hurt, that forced Dillon to do more.

Thank you Dillon. I'd much prefer that Brady throw as few TD's as possible this week.
