Cowboys RB Anthony Thomas cut

AP reports the Dallas Cowboys released RB Anthony Thomas on Tuesday and placed LB Al Singleton on injured reserve, ending his season. The Cowboys also placed DE Jay Ratliff (ankle) on injured reserve, and they signed S Tony Dixon and S Lynn Scott, both former Cowboys.

Not really a suprise with Barber coming out like he has and the already proven JJ coming back soon.

they cut the A-Train!? Crazy Cowboys..I wouldn't be suprised to see him starting somewhere by the end of the season.

I could see him starting in Arizona... but that's about it. Maybe Cleveland. Maybe.

No, don't see him in Cleveland. Droughns, Green, Suggs *if he ever stays healthy.* That's already a crowded backfield.

Hmmm...good call. With Ahman and Najeh gone that could be a nice fit if Fisher can't get it going.

i think that could be a pretty good fit if he can get anything going. he got some chances in dallas with a much better oline and didn't do much.if he goes anywhere though i think htat would be his first stop.

I almost see the Eagles picking him up. Westbrook is a great RB, but not a between the tackles type. They have no running game to speak of, and Reid knows it.
