houston, I'm not that animate about it, but that's how it's been working. You cannot compare Bettis to Anderson, Anderson has power and speed and Bettis just has power and a cloud of dust. I'm just saying, if anyone saw the game, Bell doesn't score the first one if that Eagle doesn't take a brutal angle and he doesn't score the 2nd if they aren't trying to kill the clock and just kick the FG on 4th and 3. Anderson is their guy, he is the guy Shannahan trusts to hold onto the ball.

Rick James wrote:why is everyone always complaining about these guys? In my league Anderson is the 12th highest scroing RB and Bell is 13th.

who cares if it's a split/cmte or whatever. They have both been producing. Personally, I'd prefer anderson as he gets more carries.

nice post superfreak....i agree...they are both producing....while they are splitting....and thats impressive....

isnt anyone aware that BOTH of these guys are on track for 1000 yards? thats not bad for a fantasy rb...not great....but not bad....

for me personally i don't like a backfield that is split in any way. yes they are both producing but i prefer a back that can play every down rushing or receiving for most of the game while getting spelled on occasion. then atleast if that back is sucking i know he will still be in the game no matter what. you don't have that guarantee in denver. other tha nlast week it has been mainly one guy or the other.

week 1 @Miami-they both suck. anderson gets hurt bell gets 47/13 yards 0 td's

week 2 Chargers-bell doesn't play anderson does decent at 49/41 yards 0 td's

week 3 KC-anderson finally goes off 98 yards 1TD. bell does little 47 yards

week 4 @Jax-great yardage day for anderson 115/27 yards 0 td's.bell 60/6 yards 0 td's.

so through four week we have at best inconsistency form anderson . bell was pretty stable except for the game he missed.anderson was hurt so take that into consideration and file it in the "who knows what would have happened.

week 5 Redskins-don't look now but here comes the flipside of the first four weeks. bell goes off for 127/3 2 td's. anderson an astounding 34/16 0td's

week 6 Pats-again bell tears it up 114/20 1 td. anderson has a ok day at 57/0 1 td

week 7 @Giants-ok and the pendulum swings the other way again.anderson 120/0 1td. bell back to his norm 60/1 0 td's.

week 8 eagles-ok so as we have seen already it's more times than not one or the other that does well. this game on the other hand has them both shredding the eagles D. anderson 126/16 1 td. bell 107/0 2td's.

so after the second half of their sched you get more inconsistency from both and one game that was an enigma to the trend.

now can you honestly say that both are no doubt starts given this info and trend? sure they are both producing and if you own and or start both then that's great. but to say anderson is more valuable then bell or vice versa is impossible. sure you roll the dice with any RB they can all have bad days. but as i stated i would rather have my 1 rb in there the whole game sucking with the chance to bust one out and save the day instead of the guy standing on the sidelines watching the other guy blow it up. to much of a headache for me so i punched out of the whole thing.

Also no matter what you say that is a RBBC. whether anderson is the starter or not they both get touches and loose out to someone else.
