I couldn't stop laughing at this guy, I won't mention any names, but these are quotes from the injury/player update forum about Anquan Boldins injury.
Obviously everyone here probably knows by now that Anqaun was hurt pretty bad last week, and the initial reports were that he tore his knee up bad, and would probably be lost for the season.
Now, just a few days later he is expected to play this upcoming Sunday, because the injury was NOT serious at all.

i targeted the dumbest player in my leagued and offered boldin for his glenn...

he took the bait..hook line and sinker..

obviously if boldin is out for the season...i just pulled off the trade of the century...

if not...does he still miss a good amount of time..???

As horrible as that is to do to someone…if he didn’t know enough that Boldin may be out for the year, he shouldn’t be playing Fantasy Football anyway…

seriously thou, this is the same guy who replaced a bye week D with ANOTHER bye week D. he was playing me that week and i posted a message (obviously to clown him) just to let him know.

So who has any clues of if hes not out for the season...will he miss signifcant time?

also, i use foxsport (worse ff site ever). who knows how trade rejections work..how many people have to reject the trade for the deal not to go through.

<shrug> Yeah, he made that swap based on a worst case scenario he assumed, but hey, 2-4 weeks of Terry Glenn is better than 2-4 weeks w/o Boldin. I still think the other guy got screwed.

Trade of the century goes to the owner who got Boldin and you become the dumbest player in your league for making a trade before finding out the extent of an injury. Unreal.

Terry Glenn and Boldin are pretty comparable this year though, so I don't know that it's a big deal.

I don't think it's that big of deal either. It seems as though Glenn is slumping a bit as of late while Boldin was becoming more consistent. I would still have to give Boldin the edge.

I don't even see why its a big deal. Both of these guys are #2 receivers Boldin being a slightly better #2.
