Commissioner in a pickle

Our commissioner was just offered the following trade -

Chad Johnson, Domanick Davis for Heath Miller, Terry Glenn

I know for a fact no collusion is involved, but does he accept it knowing it is lopsided? He is fighting for contention and has a fairly strong team while the other team is way out of the race for the playoffs.

The team that is offering the trade annually tries to make a trade with his dad that is really lopsided (I think last year it was Daniel Graham and Emmitt Smith for LT) and the commissioner is worried that if he accepts this trade, and this team tries to make that annual trade with his dad, he will refer back to this to say that it shouldn't get vetoed.

What does he do?

Regardless of whatever 'goofy' trade happens every year between a guy and his father...This one just doesn't seem right at all.

I would question the owner getting Miller and Glenn and ask him to prove to you it's a fair deal and what is so good for him to give up CJ and DD for those two. Miller is having a good year sure, but I don't know about this.

I wouldn't call out cheating or collusion though..But, something just doesn't seem right here.

I don't know man.. no foul play is involved, so that is good. However there comes a time when a trade has to be vetoed because it simply is such a bad trade that it "ruins the balance/competitiveness of the league" so to speak.

I'd say this trade BARELY gets by, by the slimmest of margins. Anything more, and it'd be a veto in my opinion.

As Commish I would not accept the trade as it is obviously the case of one owner trying to dump his players to another in order to imbalance the league - even if the Commish is the one benefitting from it they cannot allow it to go through... This is one-sided collusion IMO...

Since it is nearly impossible to prove collusion, all you can go on is this . . . is the trade rediculously lopsided?

In this case the answer is yes.

First looking at it, it doesnt seem that bad, it really depends on what the teams have or need. Looking more into the trade, the team that would get Miller already has a decent TE in Crumpler...which brings me to believe its a BS trade.

Yeah, way lopsided. Sometimes you have to veto with a trade like that.
