Who is the tallest receiver? I'm seeing a bunch of guys at 6'3". Anybody know off the top of their head? or have any guesses?

plax??? actually the WR on the Ravens, Clarence Moore , he's gotta be up there.

moore is 6'6"

you know lebron was supposed to be an incredible talent at wide receiver and he's 6'8". could you imagine that guy on jump balls? 8-o

Vic Ketchman, of Jaguars.com, reports at 6-foot-6, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie WR Matt Jones is officially listed as the tallest wide receiver in the NFL. WRs Drew Bennett, Clarence Moore, Aaron Hosack, Plaxico Burress, Joe Jurevicius and Brian Poli-Dixon are each listed at 6-foot-5.

that's interesting. Yahoo has Moore at 6'6". But thanks for the info, that's pretty much what I was wanting to know.

I know we are talking about the NFL but I think there is a receiver at Purdue thats 6'8".

Matt Jones of the Jags is 6'6"

I think Wilford and Reggie Williams are 6'4"

The Jags have some height at WR thats for sure

Vincent Jackson, rookie WR for San Diego, is 6' 5"....

Kyle Ingraham, junior WR for Purdue, is 6' 9"...

Funny...when I first read the thread, I thought of Matt Jones and then Kassim Osgood from SD, but he's "only" 6-5.

Now the question is who was the tallest receiver ever in the NFL!

Joe Jurevicius is 6'5" too, not that this has any relevance - it just surprised me when I read it. 7 inches taller than DJax and Engram.
