Owens got into a fist fight with Hugh Douglas!

Postby bagobonez » Sun Nov 06, 2005 11:03 am

The Trenton Times reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens got into a fistfight on Wednesday with former Eagles defensive end and current team ambassador Hugh Douglas this past week in front of several teammates. According to one of the sources the Owens-Douglas fight "was like WWE Smackdown." Another source said both men threw at least two punches during the altercation and when it was over Owens challenged QB Donovan McNabb first and then everyone else in the room saying, "You want some. Anyone else want some." Owens and Douglas, who coincidentally share the same agent, Drew Rosenhaus, have been at odds since training camp and almost got into an altercation in an elevator at Lehigh University.

Yeah, if there is any truth to this fight business, I don't see how they can put him back on the field in an Eagle's jersey. They will have people ripping the seats out of the stadium to throw at TO.

This is Philly, so don't joke. You're not exaggerating much, if at all (it depends how secured those seats are).

I haven't seen anything confirming this story, but if its true, it certainly explains the indefinite suspension after the apology. Also, TO is just plain stupid to get into a fist fight with Hugh. Hugh is one big boy, I'd love to see him and TO in a special edition of Smackdown.

I just heard this story too. I also heard that Donovan confronted TO and said, "are you with me or against me?" and TO ignored him.

They are saying that they'll do the same thing to TO as Tampa did to Keyshawn.

If they drop TO from the roster, can/will another team still pick him up THIS year?
