In case you didn't notice, Owens wants to be the highest paid PLAYER in the NFL, not just the highest paid wide receiver. I don't know of too many teams willing to dish out "Peyton Manning" money for a troublesome wide receiver, and one that is clearly a cancer in the locker room.

He'll end up somewhere, why don't you just let everybody know you are looking a little too much into it. And if you REALLY think he'll never play again. Then you know nothing about football.

I hope we don't pick him up. Don't want to waste all our cap room on him.

I don't know if this guy will ever play football again. He has dug himself a grave so deep he may never get out of it. It's well known how strict the Eagles front office is. If they weren't able to keep Owens corraled, then why would any other team take a chance on him? Especially considering the risk they would have to take financially (just like Philly did). So then you've got teams that are willing to give Owens a shot, but at a MUCH, MUCH smaller salary, and I don't see Owens swallowing his pride enough to play for chump change.

His career may very well be over, not just as an Eagle, but for good.

Wishful thinking. Keyshawn got a job, even after being deactivated, and I heard these same things: he'll never play anywhere else, hes a cancer, etc. Someone is going to take a risk on him.

Why did he have to go and do such a stupid thing...

One thing is probably for sure... TO will never again wear an Eagles uniform.

Philly loses either way... I thought when we got a stud reciever we had it made... it got us to the SUperbowl last year... but things have gone down hill from there.

I say that we get rid of this troublemaker and spend our money on a different stud wide reciever that isn't such an idiot.

But of course... TO is being TO.

Questions or Comments? PM me.

TO will play again in the NFL and anyone who thinks he will not is mistaken. If you have the talent TO has you will be given plenty of second opportunities. I'm sure there are several coaches out there right now who feel that if TO was on their team that they would be able to control him.

who would those coaches be?

Like I said, no new coach or borderline coach will want it. some coaches COULD. But the question is do they want to? tough call.
