I really want to comment in this thread - but everytime I say something disparaging about the Hyped one, other people chime in and sound angry.

I wonder what his trade value is now that Staley came back and looked strong? :-?

It's not really fair to say that when it was an injury that took him out. If he just flat out stunk it would be different. But the trade value doesn't change much, since he didn't really have any to begin with. I tried unsuccessfully to trade Parker several times this year, and didn't really ask for much in return, and got shut down every single time.

Just snatched Staley up off the wire. ;-D

Could it be that this was all part of Cowher's master plan? He knows he has an offensive line and that a lot of running backs could be effective in it. Rather than rush Staley, who had a lingering injury back in, he runs Willie until he gets hurt, and now we have a fresh Duce, who was effective last year, going into the last 6 weeks of the season.
