What value do these Eagles have?

Postby sleeper » Mon Sep 15, 2003 9:03 am

What's happening with Eagles? I understand the poor defensive play due to injuries, but what happened to their offense?

Is McNabb going to return to top QB status?

What's their RB situation? Buckhalter was supposed to start against the Bucs but ended up with one touch. This week he didn't get a single rush but did have a 21 yard catch.

Pinkston was a decent WR to plug into the 3rd slot during bye weeks and such last year. He's got only 35 yards through 3 games. What's the story here?

With a bye this week should these guys (not McNabb) be dumped?

I can't seem to give McNabb away. I guess all the talk on ESPN last night about his problems has turned everyone off.

Anyone have thoughts on Buckhalter or Pinkston?

The only reason Buckhalter has or had the top RB spot was Andy Reid did not like the fact that Staley held out of Training camp so long. I was hoping they were going to get rid of Staley. That is the only reason I drafted Corell. Boy, was that a mistake.

I'm dumping Pinkston especially since he is on a bye week and I don't think anyone will grab him if I want him back due to injury to another receiver or such.

Back in April or May, I said that (strictly IMO) the biggest flub of the draft, and the off-season up to that point, was the Eagles not addressing their WR problem.
I've had both Pinkston and Thrash in FF. And both have let me down. Week after week.
With a QB like McNabb - Philly simply had to address this problem. And they didn't.
Peerless Price in Philadelphia was the ticket after they botched the draft.
They dropped the ball.
And this is the result.

That's my 2 cents, anyway.
