he will dominate the rest of the year imo, i just made a trade as we speek for him in my $ league, i gave up aalot for him but i think it will be worth it, i gave steve smith and mike anderson for larry johnson and i.bruce. well see if it works out for me, we start 3 rb and ill be starting him, mcgahee and s.jackson, not bad, im 7-2, 1st place, but anyways, lol

He should be no worse than the 4th best RB for the rest of the year...IMO 3rd behind LT and Shaun. His next 3 games are against cupcake D's so he should be huge.

Are you guys considering that KC's offense may look DRASTICALLY different next yr?

Vermeil is gone - that could mean a compeltely new offensive system - who knows?
Tony Richardson is a FA.
Roaf will be 36. Weigmann will be 33. Sheilds will be 35. Thats a massive concern for LJ owners.

Point is - if you subscribe to the idea that situation determines production, then you should really temper your expectations for LJ next yr - even if Holmes does retire. Sure he will be a good fantasy RB because he will be the primary focus of his offense (aside from TGon), but KC certainly isnt going to be the offensive juggernaut they have been the last few years.

Good points corny....

Also, LJ had some good yardage but didn't find the endzone against a pretty bad run D. I have a feeling he's not going to be what everyone thinks he's going to be.

LJ had 170 total yards DESPITE a crappy performance by his team and the fact that his QB turned the ball over 4 times which killed drives. This was also without Roaf. On the road.

I'll take my chances ;-D
