The NFL Fashion Police never rests. Still, it's not too hard to notice things like that. These fines have been going on for several years anyway.

Since the players obviously don't care (as they have done it several times before), they aren't going to stop doing what they like to do.

What do you want the NFL to do? If I were running a business and had the right to fine a guy thousands of dollars for uniform infractions, I would watch players like a hawk as well.

I thought the EXACT same thing when I saw an article on that.

On a side note of dress codes, is the NFL letting the NYG wear the "WTM" patches on their uniforms for more then one game? Cause if they are, they're hypocrites for not letting Plummer honor his friend Tillman last year by wearing a sticker on his helmet.

Well what I really find absurd about this is that these 2 did the same stuff last season and were finded. They know they'll be fined and they still choose to do it. Not the leagues fault these 2 refuse to adhere to NFL policy.

I thought that Plummer was allowed to wear the sticker for Tillman.

It was only for a limitted period of time. After that he was to incur fines.

I'm on the anal side of this arguement. If you allow socks of different colors then rest of team, where do you draw the line? I'm surprised the coaches even let them out of the locker room if they're not in the approved NFL uniform. If I'm required to wear a tie to work and instead show up in an open-collared polo shirt, I'd expect to be sent home.

Portis has been fined previously for uniform violations.. He knew what he was doing.
