Marvin Harrison sets records for receptions, TDs and yards in a game for a WR.

What do you mean, wishful thinking?

Jamal Lewis breaks the single game rushing record... again...

(although I'd settle for Charlie Garner or Deuce McAllister) hehe ;-D

I predict that in week 3 Jerry Rice will set the NFL career record for receptions and receiving yards.

Emmitt Smith will extend his rushing yard record with another stellar, over-the-hill, 48 yds on 18 carries kinda day. C'mon Emmitt, give ti up! Aren't you starting to feel like a diamond in Davenport's girlfriend's hamper?

[The prior statement in no way reflects the attitudes or veiwpoints of the providers of this forum, but is the deranged opinion of a confessed Emmitt hater]

Moochman, why don't you go hate on someone who is worth the effort like your own Barry " I quit on my team, my city, and myself, Sanders" not a guy with the most yards ever. Emmitt has done it all with class and dignity too.

My hatred doesn't stem from any comparison to Sanders, but more from hating to see great athletes hang on to long. Smith should have been remembered as a major threat to go on a breath-taking run on any carry, not as a slow has been who blamed his old teammates for his own mortality.

Culpepper breaks record for combined rush and pass yards. Not to mention 4 total TD's. Now that's some wishful thinking. Of course, I'd settle for LT having a LT-like game.

I think you'll win this contest. Nice loophole you found...

I predict that David Boston will set the record for being the biggest bust in Charger history, after he rips his massive quadriceps off the bone while trying to get behind the DB on a deep ball.

Crap, I forgot about Ryan Leaf!
