Hmm, lets see here. They only gave hin the ball 26 times vs Pitt. He looked decent and can only get better as he goes. oh and on top of all that he had 65 yds and a td against one of the best run defenses in the league. That's why, and not to mention the best running performance by a Green Bay rb this season. He runs a 4.4 40, and is only 22 years old. You need anything else?

Did you watch any of Carolina's games last year? Oh yeah, and Tom Brady was what, a 7th rd pick I think. He turned out okay. Don't think because a guy hasn't been given a shot yet that he won't become something when given that shot. Priest Holmes sat as a backup in Baltimore for a long time. Don't everyone skew what I'm saying, he could just as easily be a bust, but don't count anybody out in the NFL. They got there for a reason.

I am a firm believer in Goings, he should be our starting back, seriously.
im expecting a decent game out of Gado. It looks like he should get the majority of the carries and if his performance against a very tough pitt defense i would think that he should be able to get 100 yards on a weak ATL run defense. Hopefully he can get a TD as well. I am starting him over Caddy.
hah! i'm just hoping for 10 points out of the guy! 100 yards OR a 40+ and a TD would be fantastic. this kid is just my LT fill-in, but if he shows me something, i might try to get a WR for dunn and make him my #2 back.

They fed him the ball 3 consecutive times at the 1 yard line before he got the touchdown last week. That's some confidence right there when you've got Brett Favre at QB.
I don't think he'll by any means tear up the league for the rest of the year. But if he can show that he has the ability to play well this year, then he should be in good shape to be given another solid chance next training camp. A guy like Gado is a player that you root for to do well cause he's so genuine. The guy is so grateful for everything from the sounds of it and will surely try his ass off on sunday.
