NFC East: NY Giants (4)
NFC West: Seattle (1)
NFC South: Carolina (2)
NFC Wildcard: Atlanta (3)
NFC Wildcard: St. Louis (5)
AFC North: Pittsburgh (2)
AFC East: New England (5)
AFC West: Denver (4)
AFC South: Indianapolis (1)
AFC Wildcard: Cincinnati (3)
AFC Wildcard: Kansas City (6)
Well, other than the fact that you are ignoring the SeaParakeets history of late season collapses, and Miami most likely knocking the Pats out in the AFC East, I think you're pretty close...
I dont see Miami taking out the Pats... Sure, the Pats may lose this week, but they have two head-to-head matchups remaining on the schedule, and the Fins are a game back... I think they split the series, with Miami losing at NE in week 17... I mean, this is Miami we're talking about, and Foxboro will be MIGHTY damn cold on New Years Day... That still leaves the Fins a game back and the Pats have the following on their schedule (excluding the 2 games with Miami):
NO
at KC
NYJ
at BUF
TB
at NYJ
I can see them losing to either KC or Buffalo... But I think they win the other 5...
Excluding the Pats, Miami has:
at CLE
at OAK
BUF
at SD
NYJ
TEN
Now, by my figuring they probably have to win all 6 of those games to pull even with NE... Maybe 5 might do it, if the Pats lose to both KC and Buffalo... But, Miami will almost certainly lose at San Diego, and I don't think they run out the rest of those games, either...
So, I think New England wins the division by a game....
