Jerry Porter Update

NEWS: September 15
STATUS: Out
SKINNY: Porter had successful surgery that repaired two hernias and will keep him out for a minimum of six weeks reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

SPIN: Porter was released from the hospital Friday and was on the sideline of the Raiders' victory over the Bengals Sunday. Referring to his surgery he said, "I feel pretty good right now but it was worse than they thought.'' We'll follow Porter's progress closely.

Bad news for me since he was my #1 reserve in two leagues. I thought he was going to be a stud this year. I guess he can still be a stud in the fantasy playoffs, if I can qualify for them.

Same here. There goes my top reserve for half the year at least.
