Will Rice be a good #2 receiver this year?

He is my #2 receiver but has had a slow start. I thought that without Porter in there he would surely have a huge game against the Bengals. Looking at the Raiders schedule, they have it fairly easy. Maybe I will wait unitl he has a big game to try and trade him or do you think he will be worthy of a starting spot.

Rice as a #2 WR is not bad.

W/out Porter, Rice will get more recept's, in theory. Problem is, w/out Porter, the opposing D doesn't have a deep, fast WR to cover, so they can play tight on Rice and Brown.

If your league gives points for recept's, Rice is an acceptable #2. if it does not, he can still be, though match-ups must be more closely examined.

The Raider who most benefits from Porter's absence might be Charlie Garner.
