Can Caddy post numbers like he did in weeks 1-3???

Postby ultra-buc's » Fri Nov 11, 2005 8:01 pm

Washington's Defense usually plays 3 linemen and 4 D-backs. Doesn't that open some room for a running attack? The skins have allowed 958 rushing yards over 8 games, with Julius Jones carrying for 88 yards, Shaun Alexander 98 yards and a TD, Tatum Bell for 127 and two TD's, and Tiki Barber for 206 and a TD. Can caddy bust loose on this D?? is he worth taking off the bench??? Gimme some insight here...

Sean Taylor and Griffin are out for the Skins. This bodes well for Caddy but i really think his foot injury is bothering him more than the team is leading on...

I think having Simms at QB has changed both the way they play offense and are defended. I don't like the odds that the Skins will give up much ground.

I don't like the Bucs remaining schedule either. Those first three weeks were against some pretty mediocre defenses. His schedule isn't exactly easy from here on out, and that foot injury sounds worse than anyone is letting on. And as the last guy said, Simms is killing the effectiveness of the ground game.

All bets are off until Tim Rattay takes over. Even then I would give him a game before I reinserted the guy into my starting lineup. The Buc's got real bad real fast... On a sidenote, I'm liking the Washington D as a strong one week play against the Buc's.

The Redskins are not defending the run as well as they traditional have. But that does not mean Caddy will do much against them as the Bucs don't have the threat of a competent passing game due to Major Applewhite's understudy, Chris Simms.
-- unlike the RBs that you listed who played on teams that could
pass and run, the Bucs can't
-- thus, WAS can load the box and dare Simms to beat them just as the last two teams the Bucs have faced have done

thanks foe the opinions everyone... I think I'll sit Caddy until he starts to show me something... here are my other options:

Staley vs. CLE
M. Anderson vs. OAK
C. Portis vs. TB

which 2 ?

From Rotoworld.com

Carnell Williams feels he's almost back in game shape.
After gaining 434 yards the first three games, he has gained just 49 yards on 24 carries the past two. "Sitting a little did kind of hurt me, but overall, I feel now like I'm getting in shape more and more every day," Williams said. "I feel like the more I get the ball, the easier things will become for me." Keep the rookie active because of his upside. Nov. 12 - 9:17 am et

Tough schedule coming up and a new QB will hurt Caddy for the remaining games.
