I don't think he'll get back to where he was the first 3 games.

ultra-buc's wrote:thanks foe the opinions everyone... I think I'll sit Caddy until he starts to show me something... here are my other options:

Staley vs. CLE
M. Anderson vs. OAK
C. Portis vs. TB

which 2 ?

Mike Anderson is a must-start every week IMO. The 100/2 games from Tatum Bell is making people overlook how productive this guy has been in recent weeks. Look at Anderson's average points per game if you exclude weeks 1 and 2 when he was injured. Ignore Tatum Bell, his carry totals, etc. Just look at the numbers:

Wk3- 15.8
Wk4- 14.2
Wk5- 5.0
Wk6- 11.7
Wk7- 18.0
Wk8- 20.2

14.15 points per game...
4 games above average, 2 games below average

14.15 points per game generally ranks you right around the #10 RB in fantasy scoring.

Portis is right there also as an every week start, but Staley has a money matchup vs. Cleveland. Charlie Batch factor says go with Portis, but I would go with whatever my gut says on that one. Do not bench Mike Anderson though. Even if he has a subpar game one week, he is likely to put up 80/1 or more the following week.

Especially given the facts you layed out about Was. defensive game, its time to take Caddy off reserve. Since he rushed for over 400 yds in the first 3 games before his foot was injured, he should be able to do that again. If the injury is almost healed like he says it is, Caddy should be playing like a top 5 featured back.
