Warner/McCown--How long will Warner last?

McCown was dropped in my 2-QB league. I have Brad Johnson as my #2 and only Bollinger as a backup, so I picked up McCown. What are the chances that he takes over as the starter again?

Really just depends on if Arizona wins with Warner under center. They haven't earlier in the season and McCown is better than Warner, so you have skill on your side. I give it 2-3 weeks and a 75% chance of happening sometime this season.

I think it's only a matter of time till McCown get the starter gig again.
I'd also look for Rattay to take over for Simms. If you have the bench space I would hold on to either of them.

Me too.

Warner is a walking injury at this stage in his career. I'd be shocked if he makes it through another game healthy.

Plindsey had an interesting theory on this in another thread, which was (and I paraphrase) Warner's starting was/could be either pressure from the Front Office to start the high-priced FA pickup and/or tanking to try to get Leinart. I live in AZ, and his theory has merit, if only because those are the only plausible reasons I can think of to Start BagBoy.
