Which pretty much means he's gonna start eventhough he didn't practice on Friday.

Wrong forum - injury and updates.

But I dont know this week may be different. There playing the Niners they might let Jones take it easy and come back next week since they really dont need him this week.

They could probally win on defense alone.

I don't expect to see him. I think they're getting more comfortable with the idea of Benson and Peterson playing a decent job of backup.

What makes sense is for TJones to take a week off and let Benson and Peterson handle the load, the Bears ought to be able to beat SF without TJones. Lovie Smith does not always do what makes sense, though. One of the three backs will undoubtedly have a good game.

Benson will probably start. The Bears will want to rest Thomas Jones vs the 49ers, an easily winnable game.

Good call guys. Thomas Jones out for the rest of the season because the Bear's will play Benson. Oops, I mean out vs. the Niner's.
