I always contradict myself...each and every year.

It's really a 3 step process:

1. Tell myself I WILL draft all my skill position starters first before grabbing bench players.

2. Convince myself midstream (usually when a RB slips to me that I didn't expect) that I should grab that back up RB because he's in a non-rbbc, healthy, and depth wins leagues.

3. Trade that RB for eye candy. Usually a Stud WR. Usually around week 3 cause I can't stand to see him rot on my bench anymore. Screw depth and emergency injury scenarios...I want points!

I did it again. Like clockwork.

Lol, I do the same thing...........

My contradiction is playing the matchups wrong. Like this week I have Maddux on my bench going up against the Bengals and Garcia my stud whom I kept faceing Seattle, a much better secondary even without Shawn Springs. My golden rule in scenarios like this is to always go with my stud, Garcia. Every year I loseout trying to exploit matchups like that. If I start Maddux, the Bengals will somehow for the 3rd week in a row stop a decent passing team while Garcia will have one of his 3TD 350yrd passing games. Reverse for the other scenario. I'm pretty good about sticking with my stud RB's but do the same thing with WR's also. K.C. 41 points against the Steelers. Boerigter 0 receptions 0 yards. Grrrr.
"At 60 yards it wont be a record FG distance, It will however set a record for longest post field goal celebration if Gramatica makes it."

Al Michaels, in reference to a Gramatica 60YRD field goal attempt week 5(2003 season) of Monday Night Football.
