College Basketball's first televised game tonight.....

here's to a good season. ;-D

Boston U plays #1 Duke tonight. Shouldn't be much of a game, but it's cool to get the season really underway.

For those who have yet to start paying attention, here are some of the highlights thus far:

Cornell takes Syracuse to the wire at Syracuse before going down 67-62

Bowling Green, a 20 point underdog, beats Virginia Tech, 72-71, at the last second after a V Tech player tipped to ball in the wrong bucket (while going for a defensive rebound).

Wake Forest has looked shaky. After struggling to beat Miss. Valley St 78-64, they gave up a 20-point 2nd half lead to George Mason. Mason forced overtime before finally losing, 83-78.

Well, there is some early stuff you may have missed.

I am a Cincy fan, and I am preparing for them to miss the NCAA Tourney for the first time in 15 years. My school, La Salle, should be better and may have a shot at .500.

GL to everyone's team's this year. ;-D

Keep your head up buddy. There's an infusion of talent coming next year, nation's #1 recruiting class (either them or Ohio St. anyways).

3 5-star recruits:
Brandan Wright
Wayne Ellington
Tywon Lawson

2 4-star recruits:
Alex Stephenson
Deon Thompson

Yep they should be much improved in a few years with this recruiting class and next years being very good. This year they will struggle though, hopefully a NCAA birth but that's about as optimistic as I'll get.

Yep, Duke was a little shaky, but that's to be expected.

How about Northwestern beating Charlotte and Sam Houston St beating Mizzou (I knew they were supposed to be down this year, but wow).
